We make it easy for students to complete our First Assistant Online program admissions process. Just fill out the online First Assistant Online program application and you are on your way. The Surgical Skillz First Assistant Program online learning program consists of 4 sessions each lasting 3 months. The First Assistant Program system lets you get your assignments, complete assessments, track your progress, and receive grades from any computer.

Minimum program Prerequisites
- Surgical Technologist (ST) or Operating Room Nurse or Physician Assistant (PA) or Medical Doctor (MD) (Copy of Certification or License).
- Minimum 2 years of O.R experience – recommended but not required.
- Proof of professional liability insurance minimum of $1,000,000. If requested by clinical rotation facility.
- Current CPR or BLS certification if requested by clinical rotation facility.
- Acceptable health and immunization records (MMR, TB, Hep-B) If requested by clinical rotation facility.

Registration Process
- Apply Online for a student account and fill out the student registration form – A Surgical Skillz representative will contact you within 24 hours when you submit your application.
- Determine which tuition options works best for you.
- Pay for course.
- Sign Student Agreement Form.
- Start taking classes.
